I attended the University of North Dakota and received a B.S. in Computer Science. Shortly after graduating, I relocated to Minneapolis, where I've held multiple engineering positions. I joined Samsung SmartThings as an entry-level software engineer, and through the years moved across numerous teams. Towards the end of my time as an engineer, I temporarily moved to South Korea and worked with our colleagues at Samsung HQ. Upon returning to the US, I pursued an opportunity to lead a team as an engineering manager with a passion for elevating the success of others through servant leadership.
